The Boulder City Fine Arts Festival began in 1985 as the Clark County Artists' Show. The name reflects the feeling at that time. There were few shows for the artists of Clark County to participate in. The show grew rapidly from 58 artists and 3,500 attendance in 1999 to 130+ artists and 15,000 attendance in 2008. The Boulder City Art Fine Arts Festial continues to fund scholarships for high school seniors on their way to taking art courses in college. These scholarships are continued for students maintaining the appropriate average.
